More Than a Pretty Face
The Misen 7 QT Enamel Cast-Iron Dutch Oven is built around a 4.5mm cast-iron core that holds steady heat whether you're searing short ribs on the stovetop or finishing a slow braise in a 500°F oven. Four layers of chip-resistant enamel — more than the two or three typically found on competing pots — mean zero seasoning is required and cleanup is straightforward, even after sticky, starchy dishes like sourdough or bean stews. Extra-wide handles make it easy to move the pot safely when wearing oven mitts.
What sets this version apart is the included grill lid, which flips over to function as a standalone grill pan on any stovetop, including induction. The silicone lid covers the pot for storage or lower-heat cooking up to 450°F. Together, the two lids make this one of the more versatile pieces in the Dutch ovens and braisers lineup. If red isn't the right fit for your kitchen, the same Dutch oven is available in Sage and other colorways. To remove scorched food, the brand recommends simmering water with baking soda — no harsh scrubbing needed.
