8" + 12" Deeper Carbon Nonstick™ Frying Pan

I’ve only had my pans for a few weeks, but absolutely love them. They cook well, they are certainly non-stick, and clean-up is a breeze. They also handle well and are a perfect weight. Yes, they are a tad shallow, but that hasn’t interfered with anything I’ve prepared thus far. And the lids contain any splatters. I wash mine by hand, then add a very very small amount of avocado oil to the dry pan before storing. I store with liners between my pans (I have the 8”, 10”, and 12”). Two of my pans have developed an off-colored area, but that just enhances the non-stick ability and is totally normal. I have not yet tried putting them in the oven, nor have I tried a hard sear on anything. To date, I am well pleased with these pans.

The pan really does incorporate the best of other types--tri-ply, carbon steel, and non-coated non-stick--and does so very well. Our only real complaint so far (the reason it doesn't get a 5-star rating from me): as others have already pointed out, it has pretty shallow sides.

So now I'm interested in seeing how long the nitride treatment lasts. Hopefully for decades.

I just started cooking with this. So far, I really like it. It takes a little adjusting since the heat transfer is better than most of the other high quality cookware I use. But it really is non-stick if you follow the simple rules for heating and properly adding oil.

I have been cooking for years using stainless and cast iron. Now that I have tried this pan it’s become my go to pan in the kitchen. It responds to adjustments in heat so quickly and it’s a dream to clean. I loved it so much I sent one to my daughter for a house warming gift. She absolutely loves the pan too!
