For best results, cook with oil or butter.

Not at all! Throw them in the dishwasher, let them soak overnight, sear on high-heat — our stainless steel cookware can take anything and truly lasts a lifetime.

Stainless Steel is not nonstick, however, there are ways to make the surface temporarily nonstick before each cooking session.
To do this, heat the pan over medium heat for 2 minutes, add 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil and swirl it around the pan. When you see smoke turn off the heat. Let the pan cool down and wipe out any excess oil. Your pan is now temporarily seasoned and should remain nonstick until you wash it with soap!

Love my new 8 quart pot
During the holidays, I realized that I needed an extra 8 quart pot, and Misen's 5-ply pot is exactly what I was looking for. I have other Misen cookware, so I knew it would be good quality, and I love that it can go into the oven. I expect this pot to outlive me.
